Sometimes, for no particular reason, a CD or DVD can become unrecognizable in your Mac and you can’t find a way to eject the disc. The one most positive way to eject the disc is to restart your Mac and hold the mouse button down until the disc is ejected. If you have a wireless mouse or trackpad, you may need to find a wired mouse to make this work. On MacBooks, just hold the trackpad or mouse button (depending on your model).
